Napa Jr. Girls Softball is a recreational softball league open to girls 3-13 yrs. of age. We offer Tee Ball for ages 3-4, and Fast Pitch to girls ages 5-13. Each division is divided by two years of ages except for 13U which is three. Your daughter's age for the Spring Season is the age they are (were), on Dec. 31, 2024.
For 10U and 13U there is a draft and no team requests are available. For 6U and 8U they are placed first, by ability, then by school and we keep most schools together unless they are too big in which we split them. The teams will play 2-3 nights a week and 1-2 games on Saturday depending on the season. 6U plays mostly on Saturdays and a possible game during the week.
NJGSL T-Ball!
This program introduces young players (ages 3-4) to the basics of softball in a fun and supportive setting. The program focuses on teaching fundamental skills like base recognition, how to properly hold and swing a bat, throwing, and other key techniques. Players will practice once a week and participate in a one-hour game each Saturday. The goal is to foster a love for the game, promote teamwork, and install basic knowledge of the sport. Parent involvement is encouraged, providing an engaging and positive experience for both children and their families, while building excitement for softball at an early age.
